How does Z-Plan create a personalized treatment plan?

We start by gathering details about your health history, symptoms, and treatment preferences to build a comprehensive health profile. This information is used to create a personalized medical record, enabling your provider to deliver care tailored specifically to you.

With a variety of personalized treatments available, your provider will use your unique health profile to select the plan that best supports your needs and goals.

Do I need to see a healthcare provider in person to use Z-Plan?

Just like everybody is different, so is the type of care. Depending on your visit type and what type of care you need, prices may vary. Medications that we sent to your home may range in price based on quantity and dosage, but we keep our medications as affordable as possible. You may also have the option of sending medications to a local pharmacy and using your insurance to pay for medication.

Our $30 quarterly membership fee of ($10/month) ensures that you can access on-demand virtual care, same or next-day appointments, prescriptions with doorstep delivery, and personalized treatment plans with top-notch medical providers and specialists.

General Medical

What is Z-Plan’s philosophy behind medical care?

Our goal is to remove the barriers that keep high-quality medical care out of reach. With the ability to schedule same day or next day appointments, and request prescriptions or refills to your doorstep, you know that we take your health just as seriously as you do. We keep convenience, accessibility, and quality front of mind, so you can focus on getting and staying healthy.

What happens if I need to go to the hospital?

Z-Plan works with local hospitals in your area to make sure you receive the care you need. If a hospital visit is needed, Z-Plan will help connect you to your nearest facility.

What is the “Treat Me Now” option at Z-Plan?

Our “Treat Me Now” feature allows you to promptly connect with a Z-Plan healthcare provider by phone or video. Your provider will review your needs, meet with you, and prescribe any necessary treatments virtually – just like the doctor’s office, but without the long wait times.

Does Z-Plan offer Urgent Care?

Absolutely. Receive medical attention for non-life-threatening pain, illnesses, or injuries through our “Treat Me Now” option, which promptly connects you to a healthcare professional by phone or video. For life-threatening emergencies, please visit your local emergency room or contact 911.

Who are the healthcare professionals at Z-Plan?

We employ a wide-range of board-certified medical professionals – doctors (MD and DO), physician’s assistants, and nurse practitioners – to ensure that you receive the appropriate holistic treatment for your visit. Our providers see fewer patients than ordinary primary care providers each day, meaning they have more time to listen to your concerns and address your needs.

What should I expect from my care team at Z-Plan?

With our patient-centered philosophy, we have the best interests of your health and care at heart. Z-Plan provides you with the tools you need to conveniently access high-quality care, and our team members with the resources they require to provide you with the best care. This partnership between you, your healthcare provider, and the rest of the Z-Plan care team means you always have a team advocating for your care every step of the way. And most importantly, your care team will always treat you as a whole person, not just symptoms that need treatment.

Is it legal to prescribe medication online?

Yes! We’re able to prescribe medication directly through our virtual visits. Depending on your needs, we’ll ask you to meet virtually with a healthcare provider or simply complete your request online. A healthcare provider will then review your results and prescribe any medications appropriate.

Is this a safe way to receive medical treatment?

Z-Plan offers a secure and convenient alternative for many traditional healthcare needs. Our online services allow you to receive remote treatment, all while communicating with qualified medical professionals through secure communication channels.

Are Z-Plan visits performed using video?

At Z-Plan, we offer two convenient options for visits: video/phone consultations and healthcare requests. Video and phone visits allow patients to engage in real-time virtual appointments with healthcare providers, providing a personalized and interactive experience. This allows you to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and receive immediate feedback and guidance from the provider. Healthcare requests use our secure messaging portal to communicate with your provider.

Can I use any pharmacy for medication prescribed by a Z-Plan provider?

Yes! You will be asked what pharmacy you prefer when you sign up for Z-Plan, and can update this information any time in the Medication section of your secure Z-Plan patient portal.

How do you select your providers?

We employ a rigorous vetting process when selecting our providers to ensure the highest standards of quality and expertise. Our screening procedure involves thorough evaluations of qualifications, medical credentials, and professional experience. By implementing such stringent criteria, we've created a team of exceptional healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering top-notch care and meeting the needs of our valued members.

Will the provider review my medical history before my visit?

Does Z-Plan replace my primary care provider?

As your first point of contact, your Z-Plan primary care provider is here to advocate for you and advise on all of your healthcare needs. In order to ensure you receive the most comprehensive care available, we recommend finding an in-person practitioner that you can visit once a year to complete an annual physical and establish a baseline for your long-term care.

Can Z-Plan handle emergency situations?

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact 911. Thank you.

How does the weight loss program work at Z-Plan?

Starting a weight-loss journey seems overwhelming. Zeatlhy provides a science-backed approach, including GLP-1 medication when medically appropriate. Once you sign up for the Z-Plan Weight Loss Program, we’ll collect information on your medical history and past weight loss program experiences to create a tailored plan for you. For many of our patients, Ozempic, Wegovy, and Victoza are part of that treatment plan. The plan also includes a weight loss coaching program that offers unlimited messaging and 1:1 sessions with a weight loss coach. For GLP-1 medications, which can be more than $1,000 per month, we'll help you get them covered by insurance such that they will be roughly $25 month. If you don't have insurance or insurance won't cover your meds, we'll offer affordable medications (typically $99/month) and have them shipped to your homes.

For a limited time, we are running a discount so you can try our weight loss plan for just $49 for the first month.

What if my GLP-1 medication is too expensive?

Most Z-Plan patients receive their GLP-1 medication for $25/month or less (after any deductible is met).
